In the late hours of Thursday,22nd of October,2020 just 2 days after soldiers shot at Protesters in Lekki,the President of The Federal republic of Nigeria,General Mohammadu Buhari came out to address his citizens after so many pressures from Nigerians.

However the President in his speech acknowledged the agitations of the protesting young Nigerians and also stated that it is their fundament rights to protest against police brutality.

The president also made mention of all the intiatives and plans that his administration has put in place for Nigerian youths and the women but refused to mention anything abóut the premeditated shootings at Lekki Toll Gate.

After the President gave his address speech,Nigerians on Twitter came online to express their dissatisfactions at what the Nigerian president said.

Nigerian musicians including Adekunle Gold,Wizkid,Burna Boyand a few others who have been actively involved during the course of the EndSARS protest also commented about what the President said.

Wizkid in his words said "Sigh! God please help Nigeria".

While Adekunle Gold expressed an utmost displeasure by saying "Nothing about the Lekki Massacre,My God,I'm dazed. My heart cannot take this".
